Becky Wright

Becky Wright is a community entrepreneur, retired psychotherapist, trainer and award-winning gin distiller based in Somerset. As Director of Love Community CIC, she leads projects that reduce isolation, improve wellbeing and create inclusive spaces where people can thrive. She is also founder of Dryad Gin, a nature-inspired artisan gin brand built around creativity, storytelling and connection. Becky is passionate about helping people realise their potential and building communities where everyone feels they belong. She is also landlady of The Dryad Inn a community Pop Up Pub of no fixed abode which serves communities where a pub has been lost or does not exist. 

Love Community CIC, a Somerset-based Community Interest Company dedicated to reducing isolation, improving wellbeing and creating opportunities for people who may otherwise be excluded from community life. One of our flagship projects is GameChanger, an innovative programme that uses video gaming as a tool for connection, confidence-building and social inclusion. We work primarily with neurodivergent adults, people with learning disabilities and others who often find traditional social spaces difficult to access.

Through weekly sessions across Somerset, we create welcoming environments where people can build friendships, develop skills and experience a genuine sense of belonging. To help fund and sustain this work, Love Community CIC operates a trading arm which includes New Leaf Counselling we generate income that is reinvested directly into our community projects, ensuring that social impact remains at the heart of everything we do.

New Leaf Counselling provides a trusted, confidential employee counselling and wellbeing service, offering practical, compassionate support when people need it most. Our approach is proactive and human-centred, helping employees navigate life’s challenges before they begin to impact wellbeing, confidence or performance at work.
